Job Title: Data Specialist

Location:

• Design, develop, and maintain logic for data controls to ensure data integrity from source to target, ensuring data meets quality standards for FCRM purposes.
• Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using

  Python

  and

  SQL

  .
• Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies.
• Collaborate with technology development and testing teams to ensure accurate development and testing of data transformation logic across environments.
• Independently analyze Source-to-Target Mapping documents and data dictionaries for root cause analysis and business understanding.
• Perform data profiling and end-to-end root cause analysis of data issues; work with stakeholders to remediate issues as part of the DQ Exception Management process.
• Develop detailed documentation of end-to-end data processes.
• Engage stakeholders and participate in triage meetings to resolve data quality issues.
• Define test scripts and cases for SIT, UAT, and perform testing.

Job Requirements (Minimum):

• University degree in Technology/Engineering.

• 710 years

  of experience in a financial institution, preferably global banks.

• 7–10 years

  of experience in SQL development (query optimization, stored procedures, indexing).
• Strong experience in

  Python

  for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
• Comfortable working across time zones (US & SG) and onsite at Wipro location.
• Understanding of compliance domains such as

  AML

  ,

  KYC

  , and Customer Risk Rating.

• 5–7 years

  of experience in data lifecycle, governance, quality, metadata, and issue resolution.

• 3+ years

  of experience in system testing and data issue exception management.
• Experience with

  Informatica ETL Tool

  is mandatory.
• Project management experience is an added advantage.
