About the Role:

Data Science & Machine Learning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain
machine learning pipelines
for time series analysis and prediction.
Perform
data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
on sensor data from power plant operations.
Design and train predictive models to forecast target values or trends (e.g., up, down, steady).
Conduct feasibility studies to assess prediction accuracy and performance.
Optimize models for
real-time and near-real-time inference
.
Collaborate with domain experts and software teams to integrate ML solutions into existing systems.
Document experiments, results, and performance metrics.
Evaluate different approaches (regression, classification, and sequence models like LSTM, Prophet, XGBoost).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in
Data Science, Machine Learning, or Predictive Analytics
.
Strong knowledge of
Python
and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy.
Expertise in
time series forecasting techniques
(ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM, GRU).
Proven experience building and deploying
end-to-end ML pipelines
.
Experience with
real-time or near-real-time data
(e.g., Kafka, Airflow, AWS Sagemaker, or Databricks).
Solid understanding of
statistical modeling
, data preprocessing, and feature engineering.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Background in
energy systems, IoT, or industrial data
.
Familiarity with
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience working with
streaming data
and
containerized ML deployments
(Docker, Kubernetes).
