Role Description

This is an internship role for a Data Science Mentor. The Data Science Mentor will be responsible for guiding and advising learners through their data science curriculum, helping to resolve technical doubts, and providing project support. The role will also include maintaining documentation and creating content for tutorials and workshops. This is a hybrid role based in Chennai, with some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

● Design and deliver foundational and advanced ML/DL projects

● Handle instant query resolution and technical doubts via sessions or support channels

● Conduct live sessions, weekly assessments, and provide detailed project feedback

● Guide learners with assignments, career tips, and tech support

● Perform periodic learner evaluations and ensure quality learning outcomes

● Build strong rapport with learners and ensure a smooth, engaging learning experience

● Collaborate with the internal tech team to improve curriculum and learning tools

● Support learners with interview preparation strategies and real-world project

guidance.

Qualifications & Skills

● Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science/

Statistics (Master’s preferred)

● Strong coding skills in Python with exposure to real-world applications

● Solid foundation in Applied Statistics and core Data Science concepts

● Proficiency with SQL and data querying techniques

● Experience building and deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning models

● Hands-on experience with Generative AI projects (LLMs, Diffusion, etc.)

● Excellent communication and mentoring skills in English (mandatory)

● Bonus skills (good to have):

○ Knowledge of Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)

○ Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps tools and workflows
