Data Sales Director – Fuelling Growth Through Data-Driven Sales

We’re seeking an exceptional sales professional to join as a Data Sales Director, playing a key role in driving business expansion. This strategic position involves crafting and executing a robust sales strategy that harnesses data insights to increase revenue, strengthen client relationships, and foster a high-performance sales culture. The ideal candidate combines proven sales expertise, leadership skills, and analytical acumen, with a strong record of delivering impactful, results-focused sales outcomes.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement end-to-end sales strategies, including territory planning, strategic account management, executive relationship building, presentations, negotiations, contract closing, and execution.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and leads both directly and through agency networks to promote the company’s satellite imagery and data solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute targeted sales campaigns, proposals, and client communications.
  • Manage and grow your sales pipeline to accelerate customer acquisition and adoption.
  • Partner with strategic collaborators to extend market reach.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close deals successfully.


A Typical Day Could Involve

  • Leading client meetings to exceed sales goals and expand market presence.
  • Coordinating integrated sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Generating and nurturing new leads independently.
  • Working closely with partners to deepen market penetration.
  • Driving contract discussions to timely and successful closures.


About You

We’re ideally looking for a candidate based in India with:

  • Proven business development or sales experience across India.
  • A degree in Business or a related discipline.
  • Preferably a background in Geospatial, Aerospace & Defense, or Satellite Imagery sales.


Key Skills and Attributes

  • Strong time management and ability to work autonomously.
  • Self-driven with a consistent track record of sales achievement.
  • A hunter mindset with solid sales experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive customer network across the APAC region is essential.
