As a Senior Database Leader, you will be responsible for leading our Database Engineering and Analytics teams. Your role will involve a deep technical understanding of database architectures, managing production databases, and optimizing database environments on managed cloud platforms to enable highly available and scalable data solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing the Database Engineering and Analytics teams to ensure optimal performance and availability of all database environments. You will oversee the architecture and operation of production databases, manage various databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, and MongoDB, and deploy highly available database solutions with redundancy for critical business systems. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams on data analytics initiatives, supporting machine learning projects and analytical workloads while leveraging cutting-edge technology for best-in-class data solutions for our customers. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 15-20 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years of direct experience in managing database engineering teams, data lakes, and analytical workloads. You should possess expertise in managing various databases, setting up highly available database architectures, and working with cloud-based database setups on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Additionally, experience in Fintech, knowledge of reporting solutions, strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
