Role Overview: As a Data Steward Analyst reporting directly to a Data Steward responsible for Customer Connectivity Data Domain at DTCC, you will play a crucial role in managing information domains across the enterprise and supporting enterprise-wide Data Management initiatives. Your responsibilities will include driving data analysis for new projects, collaborating with business partners to analyze data comprehensively, assisting in data model production, supporting data quality efforts, and participating in agile squads. Key Responsibilities: - Drive preliminary data analysis for new projects and define onboarding plans for new data - Collaborate with business partners to analyze data and produce clear business data element names and descriptions - Engage with domain experts to understand and document business requirements for data and integrate data with process flows - Assist data modelers in producing conceptual and logical data models - Input metadata for critical data elements in the enterprise metadata repository - Support data quality through evaluation of data control environment, defining data quality controls, and performing root cause analysis for data quality issues - Assist the Data Steward with project planning, resource requirements identification, and effort estimation - Independently handle assigned projects from initiation to closing - Develop and deliver high-quality presentations to partners and leadership - Participate in agile squads, document user stories, and track project metrics - Find opportunities for process optimization, automation, and enhance data management efficiency Qualifications: - Minimum of 6 years of related experience in data management, data governance, or a related role - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Additional Company Details: DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid work model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, comprehensive health and life insurance benefits, pension/retirement benefits, paid time off, and personal/family care leaves. Talents Needed for Success: - Understanding of customer connection data, provisioning records, network topology, and service activation flows - Familiarity with OSS/BSS systems and role-based access control (RBAC) and encryption standards - Solid grasp of data management processes and methodologies - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Excellent analytical and quantitative skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, data management tools (e.g., Collibra), and business process tools (e.g., Mega HOPEX) - Proficiency in SQL and database management systems, with a basic understanding of Logical Data Modeling and Database design as a plus (Note: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.)
