Data Management Senior Associate

Role Overview: As a Data Steward Analyst at DTCC, reporting directly to a Data Steward responsible for Customer Connectivity Data Domain, you will play a vital role in managing Information Domains across the enterprise and supporting enterprise-wide Data Management initiatives. Your ability to prioritize, drive projects, learn new concepts quickly, and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines is crucial for success in this role. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and bridge the gap between IT and the business by analyzing data, documenting business requirements, and communicating effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Drive preliminary data analysis for new projects, identify authoritative data sources, and define onboarding plans - Collaborate with business partners to analyze data, produce business data element names, and document data element descriptions - Engage with domain experts to understand business requirements, assist in producing data models, and input metadata into the enterprise repository - Support data quality through profiling data, defining quality controls, and performing root cause analysis for data quality issues - Assist in project planning, resource identification, and effort estimation - Independently handle projects from initiation to closing, develop and deliver high-quality presentations, and participate in agile squads - Find opportunities for process optimization, automation, and enhance data management efficiency Qualifications: - Minimum of 6 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related role - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Talents Needed For Success: - Understanding of customer connection data, network topology, and service activation flows - Knowledge of OSS/BSS systems and role-based access control (RBAC) for sensitive client data - Proficiency in data management processes, Microsoft Office tools, SQL, and database management systems - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical and quantitative skills - Experience with data management tools (e.g., Collibra) and business process tools (e.g., Mega HOPEX) preferred (Note: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.) *Additional Details about DTCC:* DTCC offers comprehensive health and life insurance, well-being benefits, pension/retirement benefits, paid time off, personal/family care leaves, and a flexible/hybrid work model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
