Data Information Assurance Specialist

Role Overview: You will be joining the Enterprise Information Governance (EIG) function at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) to contribute to the continuous development of the data policy framework. Your role will involve performing control assurance for data and records, collaborating with various architecture forums, developing metrics requirements, preparing internal presentations, and staying aligned with the Data Governance Manager and team members. Key Responsibilities: - Perform control assurance for data and records across different scenarios - Review solutions and transformation initiatives to ensure minimum standards are met - Serve as a domain expert in data governance and records management - Develop relationships and coordinate with architecture forums - Create and be accountable for metrics requirements - Prepare internal presentations on program status and progress - Collaborate with the Data Governance Manager and team members - Participate in internal working groups as required Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with assurance activities - Prior knowledge in IT compliance and auditing roles - Good understanding of control frameworks and risk management - Experience running operational processes - In-depth understanding of Data Governance principles - Appreciation of data risk and associated governance controls - Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure and cloud architecture - Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and technology partners - Experienced in leading data governance partnerships and delivering results within timelines - Bachelor's or master's in computer science, Business Administration, Information Management, or Information Sciences - Education in Information Management or Information Science is a plus Additional Details of the Company: London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider with a purpose of driving financial stability, empowering economies, and enabling sustainable growth.
