Data Governance Consultant

As a Data Governance Consultant, you will be working closely with business units to implement and enforce data standards, as well as supporting data stewardship activities within the organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with various business groups to understand their data requirements and ensure the implementation of these requirements within the Data Management framework. - Supporting Commercial, Retail, and Treasury functions in adopting and adhering to data governance best practices. - Playing a key role in data stewardship by handling typical data steward responsibilities. To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting & Finance, or related field; a Master's degree is preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data management within the Banking & Financial services industry. - Proficiency in English. - Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and regulatory requirements. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. - Previous experience as a Data Steward, with a background in interacting with Business stakeholders and involvement in BAU data processes. - Familiarity with Data Governance tools like Informatica DEQ, EDC, and AXON. - Knowledge of Data Management & Data Quality policy implementation within Data management tools. - Experience in overseeing large engagements and making informed decisions in Data management & Governance projects. - Hands-on experience in implementing Data Strategy roadmaps across organizations. - Proficiency in Data Management and Governance concepts, particularly within the Banking industry. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.,
