Data Entry Operator

• Record all incoming samples received at the gate into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or designated software.
• Ensure data logging and entry is completed as per the given timeline to avoid delays in testing and reporting.
• Maintain zero error tolerance in data entry to uphold accuracy and reliability.

Data Accuracy & Validation

• Cross-check sample details with physical labels and client documentation.
• Verify completeness and correctness of all entries before submission to lab teams.

Coordination with Lab & Technical Teams

• Communicate sample status and handover timelines to lab and technical teams.
• Update system records with testing progress and completion status.
• Highlight missing information or discrepancies to the concerned team for correction.

Reporting & Documentation

• Generate daily sample register and reports of sample intake and processing.
• Maintain organized digital and physical records for audit and compliance purposes.

System Usage & Updates

• Operate LIMS, or other data management platforms efficiently.
• Support system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting in coordination with IT/Tech teams.

Compliance & Confidentiality

• Adhere to data protection policies and laboratory confidentiality standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and ISO/IEC 17025 documentation requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum HSC or Graduate in any discipline.
• 1-5 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a laboratory or industrial setting.
• Good typing speed with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and data entry software.

• Effective communication and coordination skills to work closely with lab, technical, and operations teams.
• Familiarity with LIMS systems is a plus.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced laboratory environment with tight timelines.
• Basic understanding of sample handling and lab workflows is an added advantage.
