About the Role

We are seeking a skilled

Data Engineer (SQL Developer)

to design, develop, and maintain high-quality data solutions supporting analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL development expertise, experience in data modelling and ETL workflows, and exposure to

Power BI

and

cloud data platforms

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
SQL scripts
,
stored procedures
, and
data pipelines
for reporting and analytics.
Build and optimize
database models
,
ETL workflows
, and
data integration processes
.
Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Perform
data validation, quality checks, and performance tuning
of SQL queries.
Support integration of data from multiple sources, including
on-premises and cloud environments
.
Collaborate with BI developers to ensure smooth data availability for
Power BI dashboards
and reports.
Ensure adherence to
data security, governance, and compliance standards
.

Required Skills & Experience:

2-5 years
of hands-on experience in
SQL development
(MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, or equivalent).
Expertise in
complex SQL queries
,
joins
,
CTEs
,
views
, and
stored procedures
.
Strong knowledge of
data modelling
,
ETL processes
, and
data warehousing
concepts.
Experience with
query optimization
and
database performance tuning
.
Understanding of
data quality and integrity best practices
.

Good to Have :

Exposure to
Power BI
- data modelling, DAX, and report/dashboard creation.
Experience with
cloud platforms
such as
Azure
,
AWS
, or
Google Cloud
(especially data services like ADF, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery).
Familiarity with
ETL tools
such as
Informatica Cloud (IICS)
,
Azure Data Factory
, or
Talend
.
Basic understanding of
Python
or
automation scripts
for data validation and integration.
Experience working in
Agile/Scrum
delivery environments.

Education

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
