Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Engineer Location:Pune/Viman Nagar Job Summary: Key Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze and organize raw data from multiple sources. Develop visual, interactive, and predictive reports using Power BI . Produce ad-hoc and project-based data analysis for ongoing business initiatives and new opportunities. Perform advanced Excel techniques such as Pivot Tables , V-Lookup , and H-Lookup for data mining and analysis. Conduct A/B testing and target vs control group analysis. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data investigation using SQL and Python . Facilitate data management and analysis using Excel , Google Sheets , Power BI , and SQL . Conduct descriptive , diagnostic , inferential , prescriptive , and predictive analysis of data. Create customer segmentation , profiling , and define customer usage patterns . Extract and transform data using database queries; design and implement dynamic dashboards. Conduct complex data analysis and generate actionable insights. Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling . Build algorithms and prototypes; combine raw information from different sources to enhance data quality and reliability. Implement row-level security and understand application security models in Power BI. Develop efficient DAX queries in Power BI Desktop. Collaborate effectively with data scientists, engineers, and architects on multiple projects. Demonstrate strong accountability by completing tasks on time and responding to emails and calls within 24 hours (preferably same business day). Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. Strong technical expertise in data models , data mining , and segmentation techniques . Proficiency in Power BI development and administration . Solid programming skills in Python . Hands-on experience with SQL and relational database design. Excellent numerical, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Good communication and collaboration skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field. (Masters degree preferred) Data engineering certification (e.g., IBM Certified Data Engineer ) is a plus.
