Job Description - Data Engineer(Bayer)
Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support cloud, DevOps, and ETL/ELT initiatives, with a strong focus on event-driven data processing and AWS-based automation Key Responsibilities Support project teams with DevOps, Cloud, and Data ETL/ELT engineering Build and maintain event-driven pipelines using Kafka, Kinesis, and streaming frameworks Develop REST API-based data ingestion and transformation workflows Implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SNS, and SQS Assist in AWS Glue job development, orchestration, and automation Ensure GxP validation and qualification of data processes and systems Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and modern data architecture Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data pipeline development Experience with Kafka/Kinesis and event-driven integrations Knowledge of REST APIs, ETL/ELT methods, and data transformation Familiarity with AWS Glue, serverless compute, and orchestration services Understanding of GxP practices in regulated environments
