JD FYR:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with data engineering processes and be proficient in both the Microsoft stack and contemporary data platforms. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines, as well as ensuring data quality and accessibility for various business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes using Microsoft ETL Tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Develop serverless solutions using Azure Function Apps, APIs, Services and implement solutions with .NET 6+.

Collaborate with data analysts and other engineers to implement solutions on Snowflake, leveraging SQL, DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformations.

Work with Stream sets for data integration and streaming analytics.

Ensure data is maintained with high integrity and security, complying with data governance policies.

Troubleshoot data-related problems and build scalable solutions. Required Skills and

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience working with the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure Data Factory, Function Apps, and ETL processes using SSIS.

Familiarity in Snowflake and DBT for data transformations and modelling.

Familiarity with Apache Airflow for workflow management.

Experience with Stream sets for data integration.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in financial services or asset management industries.

Certification in Azure or any relevant data engineering technologies.
