Project Role : Data Engineer Project Role Description : Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. Must have skills : Informatica PowerCenter Good to have skills : NA Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Minimum 15 years of full time education Summary :As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems using Informatica PowerCenter. Roles & Responsibilities: Candidate should have ETL development capabilities with Informatica Powercenter (preferably with version 10.4 onwards). Should have hands on experience in developing informatica mappings using regular transformations. Should have worked with different types of source and target systems. Candidate should be able to understand and develop SQL queries. Candidate should have atleast basic shell scripting experience. Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing using Informatica PowerCenter. Create data pipelines and ensure data quality by implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate data solutions. Develop and maintain technical documentation for data solutions and processes. Professional & Technical Skills: Good communication skills, participation in team building activities, and being a team player are important qualities in the workplace. Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter. Good To Have Skills:Experience with other ETL tools such as Talend or DataStage. Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles. Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server. Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies. Solid grasp of data integration and migration techniques, including data profiling, cleansing, and transformation. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
