Job Description

Data Conversion / Migration Lead

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Conversion / Migration (Main Focus)

Lead end-to-end data migration from
Oracle E-Biz (EBS)
to
Oracle Cloud
.
Extract legacy data from EBS using SQL, PL/SQL, APIs, and interfaces.
Work extensively with
FBDI, HDL, ADFDI, OTBI, BI Publisher
for Cloud data loads.
Create conversion strategy, mapping sheets, transformation logic, and reconciliation reports.
Perform data validation, mock runs, and cutover migration activities.

2. Techno-Functional Responsibilities

Work across both technical (70%) and functional (30%) areas.
Understand functional flows in EBS and Cloud (Finance & Procurement).
Convert functional requirements into technical specifications.
Troubleshoot conversion issues across EBS and Cloud environments.
Support SIT, UAT, and production cutover cycles.

Modules Experience Required

Oracle E-Biz (EBS):

AP, AR, GL, FA
Purchasing (PO), iProcurement

Oracle Cloud (Fusion):

Financials Cloud AP, AR, GL, FA
Procurement Cloud – PO, Supplier Management
Understanding of P2P, R2R, O2C cycles

Required Skills

9+ years total experience in Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud.
Hands-on experience in
EBS Cloud migration
(minimum 1–2 end-to-end projects).
Strong SQL, PL/SQL, EBS data model knowledge.
Fully hands-on with
FBDI, HDL, ADFDI, BI Publisher, OTBI
.
Strong understanding of functional business flows in Finance & Procurement.
Ability to lead data migration workstreams independently.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
