Data Classification Analyst

• Design, implement, and manage data classification frameworks to ensure consistent handling of sensitive information.
• Perform data labeling and tagging for structured and unstructured data assets.
• Deploy and configure DLP (Data Loss Prevention) solutions, including policy creation, fine-tuning, and incident response.
• Utilize Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) and Azure Information Protection (AIP) to classify, label, and protect corporate data.
• Conduct file classification exercises and align them with corporate data handling policies.
• Monitor and analyze DLP incidents, providing recommendations to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT and Security teams on Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) initiatives.
• Identify and protect sensitive data types including PII, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to security awareness and training programs by sharing best practices in data classification and labeling.
• Assist in audits and compliance reviews by providing evidence of data classification and protection measures.
