Data Center Manager

As a Data Center Manager at NK Securities Research, you will play a crucial role in managing our high-frequency trading operations to ensure peak efficiency of our high-performance computing (HPC) clusters. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operations in data centers, overseeing hardware and software installations, monitoring hardware health, and collaborating with vendors for seamless operations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day operations in data centers, overseeing hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks. - Ensure the setup and initial installation of hardware and software, optimizing systems for trading performance. - Monitor and report on the health of deployed hardware, verifying changes in racks, and maintaining inventory of servers. - Collaborate with software developers and system administrators for colocation and data center work. - Contribute to automation and workflow improvement initiatives. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in Data Center management. - Interest in problem-solving and understanding complex systems. - Strong communication skills, disciplined work ethic, and a mindset for process automation. - High accountability and ownership of work.
