Job Description

Role –Data build tool (DBT)
Location: AIA-Pune
Exp: 9 to 12 years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with 5 to 9 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in DBT Macros DBT Core and DBT Cloud. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that drive business insights and decision-making. The position is based on a day shift schedule with no travel required.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data models using DBT Macros to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for data solutions.
Utilize DBT Core to transform raw data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Maintain and optimize data pipelines in DBT Cloud to ensure efficient data flow and processing.
Provide technical expertise in data modeling and transformation to improve data quality and accessibility.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns that inform business strategies and operations.
Design and implement data validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of data outputs.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet those needs.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to resolve any issues and ensure seamless data operations.
Document data processes and workflows to maintain transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and DBT technologies to continuously improve skills and methodologies.
Contribute to the development of best practices for data management and analytics within the organization.
Support the team in achieving project goals and objectives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

Demonstrate proficiency in DBT Macros DBT Core and DBT Cloud to effectively manage data transformation tasks.
Possess strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities to address data-related challenges and optimize processes.
Have a solid understanding of data modeling techniques and their application in real-world scenarios.
Show experience in working with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that align with business objectives.
Display strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Be adaptable to changing technologies and methodologies in the field of data science.
