Data Architect

As a Data Architect specializing in OLTP & OLAP Systems, you will play a crucial role in designing, optimizing, and governing data models for both OLTP and OLAP environments. Your responsibilities will include architecting end-to-end data models across different layers, defining conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to capture functional and performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, optimize, and govern data models for OLTP and OLAP systems - Architect end-to-end data models across various layers - Define conceptual, logical, and physical data models - Collaborate with stakeholders to capture functional and performance requirements - Optimize database structures for real-time and analytical workloads - Enforce data governance, security, and compliance best practices - Enable schema versioning, lineage tracking, and change control - Review query plans and indexing strategies to enhance performance Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of OLTP and OLAP systems architecture - Proven experience in GCP databases such as BigQuery, CloudSQL, and AlloyDB - Expertise in database tuning, indexing, sharding, and normalization/denormalization - Proficiency in data modeling tools like DBSchema, ERWin, or equivalent - Familiarity with schema evolution, partitioning, and metadata management - Experience in the BFSI or mutual fund domain is a plus - Knowledge of near real-time reporting and streaming analytics architectures preferred - Familiarity with CI/CD for database model deployments is an advantage Joining our team will provide you with the opportunity to own the core data architecture for a cloud-first enterprise, bridge business goals with robust data design, and work with modern data platforms and tools.
