The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in cloud-based data platforms, particularly Databricks on AWS, and have a deep understanding of data architecture principles.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions aligned with business requirements.Drive cloud migration strategies and implement medallion architecture using Databricks on AWS.Optimize performance of Delta Lake and other data lake components.Develop scalable and robust ETL pipelines using PySpark.Leverage Python libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib) and SQL for data transformation and analysis.Integrate best practices for CI/CD, workflow automation, and coding standards.Collaborate across teams to maintain comprehensive system documentation and ensure seamless data integration.Required Skills:12+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Architecture, including 5+ years as a Data Architect.Hands-on expertise with Databricks on AWS.Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.Extensive experience with ETL development using PySpark.Proven track record in implementing CI/CD pipelines and data workflow automation.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
