Data Analytics & Reporting - Qlik & Oracle - VP

As a Business Intelligence Developer at our company, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Build user-centric business intelligence dashboards in Qlik Sense to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders. - Create Qlik Sense extractor and transformer (.qvs) scripts for complex ETL tasks, including Set Analysis, Section Access, and Mashups. - Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse sources using scripting and tools such as Pentaho or equivalent platforms. - Design and model databases, leveraging strong PLSQL/SQL skills with experience in RDBMS like Oracle and MS SQL Server. - Utilize Qlik Sense Visualization Extensions, Mashups, APIs, and Web Integration to enhance dashboard functionality and user experience. - Develop custom Qlik Sense extensions and visualizations using JavaScript, and integrate publicly available Extension Objects. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing regular updates and aligning solutions with business objectives. - Apply a strong commercial mindset to identify business priorities and leverage data to drive strategic outcomes. - Demonstrate leadership, collaboration, and project management skills in fast-paced, agile environments. Qualifications and skills required for this role include: - 10+ years of experience in software engineering and/or business intelligence development, with a proven track record in both domains. - 7+ years of hands-on experience in QlikView/Qlik Sense enterprise-grade development. - Strong expertise in PLSQL/SQL (Oracle or MS SQL) and data modeling. - Experience in Logical & Physical Data Modeling and Data Normalization. - 5+ years of ETL experience using tools like Pentaho. - Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD automation, and cloud deployment. - Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JSON) and integrating BI solutions with web applications. - Ability to manage identity and access controls, including Section Access in Qlik environments. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred qualifications and skills for this role include: - Qlik Sense/QlikView Certification. - Experience with Tableau or other BI tools. Masters or certifications in Qlik, cloud, or risk management are a plus. - Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Jules), as well as Technology Risk & Control experience or certifications. - Strong commercial mindset and ability to align technology solutions with business goals.,
