Job Description

As the Business Insights & Reporting Lead (PMO and Business Support) at Pearson, you will play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making across product development and content operations ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include creating dashboards, insights, reports, and performance views to support governance at portfolio, program, and project levels. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure visibility of performance, risks, KPIs, and operational effectiveness. **Role Overview:** In this role, you will be the analytical backbone of the PMO and Business support function, translating incomplete information into meaningful insights while indicating confidence levels and assumptions. Your work will support the PMO and Business support function by generating actionable insights, building dashboards for governance, and ensuring a single source of truth for data across Content Strategy and Digital Delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and maintain dashboards across portfolio, program, and project levels to support governance processes and leadership decision-making. - Develop visual reports and insights to measure project success criteria, operational KPIs, risk trends, and delivery health. - Conduct analysis to identify patterns, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improved delivery. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs, reporting expectations, and metrics. - Enhance reports using tools such as Smartsheet, Excel, and Power BI. - Support PMO communication through data-backed narratives and visual storytelling. - Maintain a single source of truth for PMO reporting data. **Qualifications Required:** - Post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent certification - 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, PMO insights, or similar roles - Strong analytical and data interpretation skills - Advanced skills in Excel and Smartsheet; willingness to learn Power BI - Excellent written and visual communication skills - Knowledge of publishing processes - Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity **Additional Details:** At Pearson, our purpose is to help people realize the life they imagine through learning.
