Data Analyst - Excel & Power BI (Immediate joiners)

Job Purpose:

To support the sales leadership and management team by creating high-impact presentations and actionable insights through advanced Excel analysis. The role plays a critical function in bridging data with strategy, ensuring timely, accurate, and visually compelling business reports and dashboards that drive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Develop and deliver professional, visually appealing presentations for management reviews, sales leadership meetings, and strategic discussions.

2) Analyze data to generate insights, trends and forecasts.

3) Design and maintain dynamic dashboards using advanced Excel to track KPIs, productivity, growth drivers, and business metrics.

4) Translate raw data into actionable insights to support planning, target-setting, and performance reviews.

5) Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, Operations, Support teams, etc.) to gather inputs and validate data.

6) Ensure timely reporting with a high degree of accuracy and business relevance.

7) Support the management team in special projects, strategic reviews and sales interventions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

1) Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in Pivot Tables, Power Query, LOOKUP functions, IF statements, Data Validation, Conditional Formatting, Charts, and Dashboards.

2) Presentation Skills: Expertise in MS PowerPoint to create executive-level decks with data storytelling.

3) Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret data and derive business insights.

4) Communication: Ability to convey complex data in a simple and actionable manner.

5) Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and quality control in reporting.

Preferred Background:

Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, FMCG or Consulting industry exposure preferred.

Qualification:

Minimum: Graduate

Experience:

4-6 years of experience in Power point presentations, business analysis, MIS, sales strategy, or similar roles supporting sales or leadership teams
