Data Analyst

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst who will be responsible for managing and analyzing large sets of sales and marketing data, generating meaningful insights, and developing forecasting models to support data-driven decision-making. The role requires proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel, with a strong focus on sales forecasting, market trend analysis, and business performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Analyse, prepare and manage large volumes of sales and marketing data from multiple sources.
• Perform data analysis and forecasting to predict sales trends, market demand, and regional performance.
• Drive business insights that contribute to strategic decision-making and overall business expansion.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel for business reviews.
• Use SQL for querying databases and extracting data efficiently.
• Apply Python-based analytical models to support forecasting, segmentation, and performance tracking.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports to monitor business growth.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a sales or marketing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in:
• SQL– for querying, data extraction, and transformation.
• Power BI – for dashboard creation and visualization.
• Python – for statistical modeling, forecasting, and automation.
• Excel (Advanced Level) – including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data cleaning, and macros.
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
