Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor security alerts and analyze potential threats using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Implement and manage security controls and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus).
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Conduct security awareness training for employees.
Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and patch management.
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and compliance requirements.

Key Skills Required:

Knowledge of network security protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, SSL/TLS, etc.)
Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys) and penetration testing
Understanding of cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Incident response and forensic analysis basics
