Cyber Security Specialist

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, your role will involve configuring and managing vulnerability scans for internal and external networks. You will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across IT assets. Your expertise in recommending and implementing security patches, configuration changes, and risk mitigation strategies will be crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and configure vulnerability management scans for internal and external networks - Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities across IT assets - Recommend and implement security patches, configuration changes, and risk mitigation strategies - Work with security tools for Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Threat Intelligence, Endpoint Protection, and Security Information & Event Management (SIEM), Zscaler - Support and build new security capabilities across various domains such as cloud security, network security, and identity & access management - Design cloud security configurations and conduct initial triage of cloud security alerts with expertise in GCP (OCI is desirable) - Manage and oversee the implementation of Zscaler for secure remote access for contractors - Implement and enforce password complexity policies organization-wide - Design and support security awareness programs to educate employees about cybersecurity best practices Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience in setting up and configuring vulnerability management scans - Expertise in identifying, prioritizing, and remediating security vulnerabilities - Proficiency in recommending and implementing security patches, configuration changes, and risk mitigation strategies - Experience working with security tools such as DLP, Threat Intelligence, Endpoint Protection, and SIEM, Zscaler - Ability to support and build new security capabilities across various domains - Cloud security design experience with GCP expertise - Experience in implementing Zscaler for secure remote access - Knowledge of password complexity policies and security awareness programs Join this company to contribute to configuring and managing vulnerability scans, prioritizing security defects, and providing remediation strategies.
