Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining our support team in Pune, India as a Customer Support Specialist at Red Hat. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the main point of contact for our global customers, providing assistance with various technical and non-technical issues related to our products, support, and services. Your role will involve troubleshooting problems, collaborating with technical support Engineers, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction. As you grow in this position, you will take on more complex technical challenges, contribute to process improvement, and participate in knowledge base development, gaining exposure to enterprise-level customer environments and modern support tools. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate with Red Hat customers and internal stakeholders regarding technical and non-technical support issues - Guide customers on best practices, product features, and technical requirements - Develop and update support documentation to enhance the customer self-service experience - Handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively to meet business expectations - Work with Red Hat enterprise customers globally on a 24x5 support rotation Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in the customer service industry - Basic RHEL certifications such as RHCSA and RHCE - Strong troubleshooting skills and exceptional customer service abilities - Passion for problem-solving, ability to work under pressure, and quick learning mindset About the Company: Red Hat is a leading provider of enterprise open-source software solutions, leveraging a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing technologies like Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes.
