Job Description

Role Overview: As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your primary focus will be providing managed services to ensure clients" IT infrastructure and systems remain operational. You will proactively identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems to support clients effectively. Your role involves monitoring client infrastructure, investigating incidents, and ensuring high service quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Provide managed services to ensure clients" IT infrastructure remains operational - Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems - Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to catch errors promptly - Investigate first-line incidents, understand root causes, and follow approved procedures for request fulfilment - Provide telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat support and execute maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes - Identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and process improvements - Support project work, disaster recovery functions, and tests - Ensure incidents and requests are resolved efficiently, escalating when necessary - Update existing knowledge and share valuable insights to facilitate continuous learning and improvement Qualifications Required: - Basic understanding of technologies including Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Virtual Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASr and ISr routers, Cisco ACS, ISE, Meraki switches, and common routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGrP - Highly disciplined in handling tickets on a day-to-day basis and acting promptly as per defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Good understanding of using ITSM tools and processes - Strong planning skills and adaptability to changing environments - Strong work ethic, including capacity to work longer hours when necessary - Client-focused approach, positive outlook, and resilience under pressure - Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups - Excellent active listening skills and a bachelor's degree in information technology/computing or equivalent experience Note: The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers an on-site working environment.,
