Job Title: Customer Service Executive – KYC

Location: Mumbai
Department: Customer Support / Operations
Reports To: Customer Service Manager / KYC Lead
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive with KYC experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions via phone, email, or chat in a professional manner.
  • Guide customers through KYC processes including document collection, verification, and validation.
  • Review and verify KYC documents in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and ensure timely updates in the system.
  • Escalate any suspicious or fraudulent activity as per internal policies.
  • Ensure high standards of data privacy and customer confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for issue resolution and process improvement.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team KPIs related to customer satisfaction and KYC turnaround time.
  • Provide support in audits and regulatory inspections as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred in Business, Finance, or related field).
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in BFSI, telecom, or fintech domain.
  • Hands-on experience with KYC/AML regulations and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Multilingual abilities will be an added advantage.

Preferred Attributes

  • Knowledge of local and international KYC regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
