Customer Service Assistant Manager Logistics

As an Assistant Manager - Customer Service in Pune, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding shipments, documentation, and service status. You will collaborate with internal departments such as operations, sales, and accounts to ensure a seamless end-to-end service experience. Handling 50 to 75 job files per month, you will update customers regularly on shipment statuses, proactively address any delays, and manage complaints or escalations professionally to achieve timely resolutions. It is essential to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, as well as ensure the timely preparation and submission of necessary documentation such as Shipping Instructions, BL, and invoices. In addition to managing customer queries, you will liaise with overseas agents or vendors as needed to ensure service continuity and support the sales team by providing customer feedback, service insights, and follow-ups. Adherence to the company's customer service standards, policies, and procedures is crucial, and participation in training and development initiatives to enhance customer service skills is expected. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a graduate degree in any discipline and possess 3-5 years of experience in customer service, preferably within the logistics, freight forwarding, or service-based industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain composed under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and Outlook is required, while familiarity with freight documentation and shipping procedures is considered advantageous.
