Job Description

As a Customer Quality Manager at Rockwell Automation, you will be the primary contact for all customer quality concerns, including product, process, and software issues in the India region. Your role will involve collaborating with sales teams, distributors, and customers to address and manage quality-related projects efficiently. Your aim will be to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly resolving quality concerns and identifying opportunities for process improvements. You will be responsible for leading quality issues across various business units and sales regions, ensuring timely and aligned resolutions. Managing multiple open quality issues simultaneously, maintaining accurate records, summarizing action plans, tracking progress, and facilitating effective stakeholder communication will be part of your daily tasks. In addition to issue resolution, you will serve as a change agent by escalating critical concerns, leading communication efforts, and coordinating urgent resolutions. You will also act as the single point of contact for quality issues for strategically important accounts in the region, analyzing regional quality trends and resolution data to engage with key accounts and lead preventive actions. Your role will require you to work cross-functionally to resolve issues, lead project teams, and ensure timely follow-up on action items. Educating field sales teams and distributors on quality processes and issue resolution procedures will be vital to your success. Applying methodologies such as 8D, Ishikawa diagrams, and process mapping to address and resolve complex issues will be essential in this role. To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field, along with 8-10 years of experience in quality management, corrective action planning, and issue resolution. Occasional travel within the region (10-20%) may be required. Preferred qualifications include confidence in engaging with senior leadership and customer stakeholders, analytical and problem-solving skills, experience working with customers, sales teams, and distributors, familiarity with Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, and Jira, as well as experience in complaint management and escalation handling.
