Job Description

Role Overview

The Customer Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end customer accounting operations including settlements, reconciliations, loan booking, and payment processes. The role requires strong expertise in handling complex reconciliations, addressing customer and regulatory escalations, and driving automation for process efficiency while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Role & responsibilities

Manage all
customer accounting activities
related to settlements and reconciliations across multiple accounts.
Perform
daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations
to ensure accurate and timely closure.
Oversee
loan booking and payment process reconciliations
with accuracy and efficiency.
Investigate discrepancies, resolve variances, and ensure accuracy in settlement reporting.
Handle
customer service escalations, RBI queries, social media complaints, legal cases, and disputes
in coordination with relevant teams.
Address operational queries related to
loan booking, cancellations, charges, and payment processes
.
Drive
automation initiatives
(including Robotic Process Automation) to reduce manual effort and minimize errors.
Conduct
UAT and testing
for new system enhancements and critical operational changes.
Identify opportunities for
process improvements
and implement best practices in reconciliation and settlement functions.
Ensure compliance with
regulatory, audit, and risk management guidelines
.
