CT/MRI Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow physician orders and established protocols to perform imaging procedures.
• Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal images while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast agents when required, following safety and protocol guidelines.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any complications or emergencies.
• Evaluate images for quality and report any issues or abnormalities to the radiologist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Ensure the cleanliness, calibration, and maintenance of imaging equipment.
• Adhere to radiation safety and MRI safety protocols.
• Train and mentor junior technicians or new hires as needed.
• Maintain continuing education and certifications to stay current with advancements in imaging technology.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with CT and MRI credentialing preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience operating CT and MRI equipment.
• Valid state license to practice as a radiologic technologist (if applicable).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Working Conditions:

• May require evening, weekend, or on-call shifts.
• Work is performed in a clinical setting with exposure to patients and imaging equipment.
• Must be able to lift or move patients and equipment as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
