Job Summary:

Credit Risk Consultant

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in credit underwriting, portfolio risk management, and regulatory compliance, along with a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record in consumer credit risk strategy within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1.

• Design, implement, and maintain risk management strategies and credit policies across the consumer lending portfolio.
• Ensure policies are aligned with regulatory expectations and internal risk appetite.

• Oversee credit underwriting for new originations and existing customer accounts.
• Continuously monitor portfolio health, identify emerging risks, and implement mitigation plans to maintain performance and asset quality.

• Ensure all credit risk activities adhere to applicable laws, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.

5.

• Track and analyze key risk metrics and KPIs.
• Prepare and present insightful risk dashboards, portfolio reviews, and strategic updates to senior leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in credit risk management within consumer banking.
• Deep knowledge of credit underwriting principles, portfolio management techniques, and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective credit strategies across various consumer lending products.
• Strong proficiency in analytical tools and languages such as SAS, SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience in model development and validation is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
