Credit Risk Analyst

Role Overview: You will be part of the global risk, credit & compliance team at Air8, an LFX digital venture, working towards contributing to the risk policy setup, credit underwriting competence development, and data-driven risk innovation to facilitate business growth. Your role will involve understanding clients" profiles, supply chain operations, funding pain points, and supply chain financing products. You are expected to possess solid risk underwriting skills, a passion for data-driven risk model innovation, and ensure high-quality and efficient credit decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Support in establishing the overall Air8 credit risk management framework and monitor its implementation for excellent risk performance. - Underwrite the risk of international suppliers and buyers, continuously improving underwriting quality and efficiency through tech tools, alternative data, and innovative methodologies. - Manage credit risk exposure of designated portfolios by assessing and monitoring counterparties, executing risk mitigation solutions within the company's risk appetite and credit policy for business growth. - Engage with external stakeholders such as funding partners and insurers to align on the risk framework for smooth asset distribution. - Deliver and monitor risk reporting at portfolio and country levels, complete ad hoc projects in specific areas or countries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, or economics. - 7+ years of credit underwriting experience in financial institutions or fintech focusing on SMEs. - Experience in cross-border trade finance, receivable finance, factoring, credit insurance, supply chain solutions, SME coverage, or relevant domain expertise is preferred. - Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems in a structured manner. - Independent, self-driven, mature, resilient, able to handle pressure. - Fast learner with a team spirit, adaptable to a multi-cultural environment. - Proficient in communication in business English.,
