Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Officer with expertise in GST analysis, ITR evaluation, and balance sheet assessment. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background and will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Analysis & Credit Assessment: • Analyze GST returns, ITR (Income Tax Returns), and balance sheets to assess an applicants financial health. • Evaluate loan applications based on cash flow, revenue trends, and overall creditworthiness. • Assess profit & loss statements, debt obligations, and working capital requirements to make informed credit decisions. 2. Risk Management & Compliance: • Conduct thorough risk assessments to minimize default risks. • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, RBI guidelines, and financial regulations. • Identify potential bad debts and high-risk borrowers. 3. Loan Processing & Approval: • Work closely with applicants to verify financial documents and ensure accuracy. • Approve or reject loan applications based on data-driven analysis. • Collaborate with underwriting teams to structure loans effectively. 4. Customer Interaction & Advisory: • Explain credit terms, interest rates, and repayment structures to applicants. • Provide financial insights to customers for better loan management. • Assist clients in understanding financial statements and tax implications on credit. 5. Documentation & Reporting: • Maintain detailed reports on credit evaluations and loan approvals/rejections. • Prepare financial summaries for senior management review. • Ensure timely updates on loan disbursements and outstanding payments. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of GST filings, ITR analysis, and balance sheet interpretation. • Expertise in financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and credit assessment techniques. • Proficiency in loan management software and financial tools (Tally, Excel, or banking software). • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. • Strong understanding of banking regulations, lending policies, and credit risk management. Preferred Experience: • 2-6 years of experience in credit analysis, financial assessment, or lending. • Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, or financial institutions is preferred. NOTE- People from Noida & Greater Noida are only Preferred.
