Business & Financial Management
-To have basic understanding of KYCs, regulatory reforms related to GST, Income Tax, and others
-To appraise or underwrite LAS proposals for new limits/ enhancements and renewals within defined policy guidelines and accordingly take decisions or recommend for approval to appropriate authority
-To conduct personal discussion with customer / client with intent to understand and analyze associated risks in the business and financial standing of the client. -To assess the income, ability, intention, business sustainability & credit behavior and verify it through income documents & reference checks and various credit bureau checks. -To verify client holding reports and identify the risks or critical points impacting the proposal. -To analyze the audited / certified financials as the case may be to assess the eligibility for the loan and prepare Credit Approval Memo -To manage the entire credit assessment process right from the origin till activation.
Customer Focus
- Managing the overall decisioning TAT to have an excellent customer experience.
-To ensure complete adherence to laid down policy and procedure / process
- Handling daily requests for customer security releases/ additional tranche disbursals
-Liaise with sales team to proactively assess and resolve issues faced by client. -Structure the right product to the customer during customer interactions
Process / Quality Improvement
- Manage credit quality and control delinquencies, frauds
Understand credit policy as well as credit environment in the city / branch
- Structure the right product to the customer during customer interactions
- TAT on closure of cases
- Monitoring of Deferral approvals and completion within Due date.
- Process discipline demonstrated by satisfactory audit reviews
- To prepare and maintain MIS covering all aspects of the credit process and proposal and circulate to authorities on timely basis.
Portfolio Management
- Monitoring of accounts in shortfall & timely remediation of same. Ensuring critical accounts are highlighted to all concerned stakeholders on time.
- Portfolio Analysis of all Client for Maintaining Concentration norms and highlighting if any breach.
- Performing Monthly & Quarterly Analysis of Pledged Securities using Capitaline and NAV Software.
- Historic and Real Time Data Analysis of Shares, Mutual Funds and Bonds to Management for Better Decision Making.
- Responsible for preparing BRD, Liasoning with Technology team in new developments, Creating Scenarios in UAT, Testing & Signing off for Deployment in Production.
Ensure AP Ref no.if generated as soon as a file is logged in
Check CIBIL of every file after login.
Calculate eligibility basis product norms
Maintaining TAT with respect to initiating PD and sharing of additional documents required.
Relook at cases which have been rejected basis merit
Credit approval of deals as per authorized limits, recommends and forwards to appropriate authority incase of higher limit, deviation, deferral.
Take various market references and build touch points for customer reference.
Check and keep tab on industry trends, key factors impacting industry, performance of trade in local market and regulatory impact

- Monitoring portfolio adherence to triggers and surface underlying issues with possible solutions.
- Responsible for ensuring documentation and process adherence.
- Interaction with Local FCU for setting up specific triggers and coordination.
- Coaching mentoring of the credit team including credit admin.
- PDD management for the branch.
- Sale process for securities for shortfall cases
