Credit Analyst/Senior Credit Analyst - Insurance

As a Credit Analyst in the Insurance sector at our Global Analytical Centre in Pune, you will play a crucial role in supporting global Credit Analyst(s) to monitor the performance of a portfolio of Insurance Companies primarily in the North American/European markets. Your responsibilities will involve: - Assisting in tracking industry, regional, and regulatory trends to facilitate timely and accurate credit ratings - Understanding the portfolio of credits and identifying rating/outlook triggers - Applying rating criteria to daily activities and deliverables - Analyzing financial and operational performance, developing financial models, and conducting peer analysis - Drafting internal credit analysis/assessment packs and notes - Collaborating with Global Credit Analyst(s) in preparing credit rating and research reports In addition to your functional responsibilities, you will be required to: - Adhere to defined processes in executing assignments - Ensure proper retention, documentation, and dissemination of knowledge - Strictly follow Compliance, Confidentiality, and Information Security Policies - Refrain from trading/holding shares in Financial Institutions/Insurance companies Your role will also involve client and stakeholder management, where you will: - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with international clients - Handle a variety of requests from global Credit Analysts - Proactively contribute to client priorities To be successful in this role, you should possess: - 1-3 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, ratings, credit research, and report writing - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Proficiency in international accounting standards and banking-related financial concepts - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team and lead or mentor team members Qualifications required for this position include: - Two years full-time MBA in Finance or equivalent OR CA Join us in our mission to provide accurate credit ratings and research reports to our global clients in the Insurance sector.,
