Credit Analyst

As a Credit Analyst in Wholesale Banking Risk, your role will involve making credit appraisals of corporate borrowers from an asset lending perspective. You will be responsible for recommending new and existing relationships for approval, as well as interacting and coordinating with internal stakeholders such as legal, compliance, trade, internal audit, and product teams, along with external stakeholders like Banks and Rating Agencies. It will be essential for you to keep the unit informed about current industry updates, peer group updates, and competition updates. Your key responsibilities will include: - Appraising and evaluating clients" creditworthiness for onboarding asset relationships in alignment with bank policies and regulatory framework - Reviewing, recommending, or rejecting loan requests based on credibility, potential revenues, and losses - Negotiating loan terms with borrowers to mitigate credit risk - Ensuring regular adherence to credit policies and risk appetite criteria - Analyzing the supply chain finance portfolio and overseeing portfolio monitoring, trigger reviews, and delinquency control - Sharing best-practice knowledge within the team Additionally, you will have secondary responsibilities, including: - Recommending improvements to processes and policies within the supply chain financing business to enhance operational efficiencies and customer service quality - Participating in the overall portfolio monitoring exercise at the Wholesale Banking level - Leveraging in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders Qualifications: - Graduate in any discipline Experience: - 5+ years of experience (Relevant experience will be considered even with lesser years of experience based on merit),
