Creative Head

As the Creative Head at Alankaram, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual and creative direction of our design-led, premium furniture brand. Alankaram is renowned for blending traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, specializing in solid wood furniture made from teak, ash, oak, and beech wood for both residential and commercial segments in India and abroad. Your primary responsibility will involve leading the visual narrative of the Alankaram brand across all channels, be it online or offline. Your role will encompass overseeing various creative aspects such as photoshoots, videos, campaign design, product storytelling, packaging, digital assets, showroom branding, and more. You will collaborate with internal teams, freelancers, and external creative partners to ensure consistent and compelling brand expressions across marketing, retail, and communication touchpoints. Key responsibilities will include defining and evolving Alankaram's visual identity and design language, aligning creative output with brand positioning, conceptualizing seasonal campaigns, supervising photography and videography, directing design creation for digital and print creatives, managing teams and vendors, and collaborating cross-functionally with other departments. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field, with 7-10 years of creative experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product photography, design, branding, and video is essential. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, video tools, and project management skills are required. Experience in the furniture, interiors, lifestyle, or fashion industries is preferred. Your success will be measured by visual consistency and quality across brand assets, timely delivery of creative campaigns, engagement metrics on marketing initiatives, team development, vendor efficiency, and adherence to production budgets and timelines.
