Crane Service Engineer

We are hiring a Field Service Engineer for cranes, excavators, and material handling equipment. The position is based at Agarpara, Kolkata, with operational responsibilities across India. The role involves service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for both company-owned rental machines and customer equipment. Candidates must have strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and be willing to travel extensively for on-site service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of cranes, excavators, material handling equipment, and other heavy machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for both rental fleet and customer machines.
• Visit various job sites across India as per service requirements.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports, job cards, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure machines are maintained in good working condition to minimize breakdowns and maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager for parts requirements, scheduling, and service planning.
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to company policies at all sites.
• Train operators or clients on basic operation and routine checks of equipment when required.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, especially cranes, excavators, loaders, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, circuit diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
• Ability to work independently and under field conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
