Country Manager, Structural Heart - India and Subcontinent

As the Country Manager for Structural Heart in ISC (India & Sub-continent) at Abbott, your main purpose is to lead and provide strategic direction to achieve corporate goals. You will be responsible for planning and organizing to drive key business imperatives. Your role involves serving as the strategic leader with responsibilities including creativity, innovation, people development, product marketing, distributors" management, overall sales, and profitability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide strategic leadership and develop annual and long-term business plans consistent with global and regional strategies. - Manage full business P&L budget responsibility. - Direct all aspects of day-to-day business management to achieve revenue and profitability objectives. - Drive operational responsibilities through the reporting leadership team to ensure business objectives are met in compliance with regulations and company values. - Collaborate with cross-functional partners and functional organizations to best support the region. - Foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and key customers to ensure competitiveness and market leadership. - Work closely with regional management teams to develop and position business development goals. - Manage key assets and financial indicators for continuous growth and profitability. - Set KPIs, monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. - Anticipate talent needs, nurture high potential talent, and develop competent leadership at all levels. - Create a positive and inclusive working environment that aligns with Abbott's mission. **Education Required:** - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related fields. MBA or advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of ten years of direct sales and marketing management experience in a multinational pharmaceutical or medical device company.
