Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Counselor role based in Chennai. The Counselor will provide guidance and support to individuals or groups, helping them address personal, educational, or career challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual or group counseling sessions, assessing client needs, developing action plans, and offering resources to support well-being and personal development. The Counselor will also collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and build trust.
• Counseling and active listening skills to provide effective guidance and support.
• Experience in maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations.
• Understanding of educational, social, and emotional well-being, especially in diverse communities.
• Proficiency in planning, problem-solving, and decision-making to develop actionable solutions.
• Exposure to or interest in social work, psychology, or related fields would be an advantage.
• Knowledge or experience working with underprivileged communities is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
