Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate cost estimates for cable products considering materials, labor, and overheads. - Monitor budgets, conduct variance analysis, and support cost-saving strategies. - Design cable configurations using industry-standard software tools, mandatory knowledge of cable design software. - Create and maintain detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs). - Evaluate supplier costs, facilitate negotiations, and identify procurement efficiencies. - Generate periodic cost analysis reports and present cost trends to management. - Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and finance teams. - Recommend process automation and improvements in costing and design processes. - Ensure compliance with industry and quality standards in all designs and costing practices. - Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and cable design software. Candidate Profile: - B.E. in Electrical Engineering. - 8-10 years of experience in the cable or electrical manufacturing industry. - Proficiency in cable design software and costing principles. - Expertise in Excel, ERP systems, and costing tools. - Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
