About the Role:
Thales DataSecurity is seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Customer Oriented Scenario Testing (COST) team. This team plays a pivotal role in simulating and validating real-world customer environments to ensure our cybersecurity products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a distributed team of test and automation engineers with a strong customer-centric focus.
Define and drive quality strategies, roadmap execution, and customer scenario validation.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot complex virtual, physical, and cloud test setups.
Serve as a key liaison between product development and customer-facing teams. Actively engage in integration projects and hands-on testing when needed.
Foster team growth through mentorship, hiring, and process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience managing QA/test or automation teams.
3+ years hands-on experience in QA.
Strong experience in customer simulation labs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and virtualization (VMware).
Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting (Bash/Python).
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and align with customer needs.
Strong English communication (Upper-intermediate+).
Preferred Skills: Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience with performance/load testing, CI/CD, containers (Docker/Kubernetes). Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), cybersecurity, and networking.
