Cost optimization engineer whole vehicle

Role Overview: You will be responsible for specifying and coordinating projects to reduce the material load of vehicles within sophisticated technical areas including whole vehicle, serial, and new projects. Your role will involve recommending cost reduction strategies for product models and new equipment. Coordination of project realization within the VW group and R&D will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform search and realization of savings potential by analyzing, evaluating, and processing documentation for internal gremia and FMK (Material Costs Forum), and preparing materials for the Board of Directors. - Coordinate and methodically lead a project team of experts from R&D departments to implement project tasks in finding and realizing savings potential. - Assign tasks to verify potential, including evaluation within internal gremia, FMK negotiations. - Propose a process of realization of savings potential within internal gremia negotiations and FMK. - Provide information and negotiate technical solutions with respect to the fulfillment of savings measures for the model series within SAIPL and SKODA HQ, FMK. - Organize the implementation of measures/decisions from internal gremia and FMK. - Evaluate the measures based on competition analysis within a confined area, competitive wagons. - Analyze the potential of technical solutions and development trends in competing vehicles. - Supervise the fulfillment of targets and regularly report project progress to the Team Head. Qualifications Required: - Strong technical skills and proven project management experience. - Understanding of business issues. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Experience with staff coordination is an advantage.,
