Engineer - Homologation Export

As a Vehicle Homologation Specialist, your role involves managing export regulations and homologation compliance for allocated markets. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating vehicle certification activities for all export vehicles, including components, systems, and whole vehicles. Your tasks will include developing contacts with technical service providers, importers, and European counterparts to exchange regulatory information regularly. Additionally, you will prepare and update legislative information required for export homologation and other compliances and ensure timely dissemination to relevant departments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Completing planning of vehicle certification activities for allocated export regions, including self-certification markets, and obtaining necessary certifications within agreed project timelines. - Analyzing, budgeting, and planning export homologations in coordination with other teams to ensure timely completion. - Acting as Country champions for allocated markets to maintain compliance and ensure distribution of legal technical documents for export compliances. - Studying engineering changes, conducting impact analysis, budgeting, and planning testing and homologation activities in coordination with various departments. - Preparing regular reports, adhering to departmental processes and guidelines, and maintaining all documentation, reports, and certificates in both soft and physical forms. For this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, in-depth technical knowledge of vehicles and their functioning, as well as knowledge of homologation authorities and technical services. You should also have a good understanding of international regulations such as ECE, EEC, FMVSS, and the European regulatory framework. Your ability to coordinate with various teams and ensure compliance with export regulations will be crucial in this position.,
