Role Overview: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the search and implementation of projects aimed at reducing the material load of vehicles within sophisticated technical areas. Your role involves recommending cost reduction strategies, coordinating projects within the VW group and R&D, and leading a team of experts to achieve project goals efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Perform analysis and evaluation to identify savings potential, prepare documentation for internal gremia and FMK (Material Costs Forum), and present materials to the Board of Directors. - Coordinate and lead a project team to execute tasks related to finding and realizing savings potential. - Assign tasks to verify potential savings, including evaluation within internal gremia and FMK negotiations. - Propose and implement processes to realize savings potential through negotiations within internal gremia and FMK. - Communicate and negotiate technical solutions to fulfill savings measures for model series within SAIPL, SKODA HQ, and FMK. - Organize the implementation of measures and decisions from internal gremia and FMK. - Evaluate measures based on competition analysis and technical solution potential in competing vehicles. - Supervise the fulfillment of targets and provide regular project progress reports to the Team Head.
