Job Description

Commercial Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Manager with strong expertise in Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation and experience handling commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing project costs, contracts, procurement, and overall commercial strategy to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Prepare, review, and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in coordination with the engineering and design teams.

* Lead and manage commercial aspects of construction projects including budgeting, cost estimation, procurement, and tender evaluations.

* Work closely with project teams to monitor project budgets and provide cost control support throughout project life cycles.

* Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.

* Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements across all commercial activities.

* Support in preparing cost plans, cash flow forecasts, and value engineering exercises.

* Manage claims, variations, and change orders effectively with proper documentation and stakeholder communication.

* Conduct regular commercial reporting and provide updates to senior management.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates and cost data for accurate pricing and estimating.
